Die Vögel sind sehr süß XD
welche hast du dir als Vorbild genommen?
Der Titel ist wirklich sehr dramatisch xD aber um den zu verstehen, muss man wohl die Geschichte kennen...
mir fällt gerade auf, dass es sogar noch eine Anspielung ist, die wohl nur mir auffällt, was heißt, es hat mit einem Kriesfilm zu tun *lol. Oder war das absicht?

zurück zum Bild: Die Bäume sehen wirklich sehr Mangrovig aus, aber das macht nichts, weil das toll rüber kommt.
Sind die Schatten im original auch so schwach, oder kommt das nur durch den Scan?

sehr schön ^^ die sanften farben gefallen mir sehr gut (insgesamt sind die farben übrigens auch sehr schön aufeinander abgestimmt)...ihr gesichtsausdruck ist die gelassenheit und sanftmut schlechthin ^^... hach ja, bäume...können einem den letzten nerv rauben...hab mir auch schon mehrmals geschworen nie wieder welche in meiner hintergründe zu packen...und doch schleicht sich dann immer wieder einer ein -_-

Enough of that nonsense. I love how you did the BG! I told you you could pull it off! I think you did it excellently, and I love how the one tree becomes a sort of abstract framing element as well. From the marks it looks like you were working on really slick paper, which is good for markers! Very nice work on her soft little hands as well. It also seems you used brown ink in some places which really makes the parts stand out and look so much softer, although I wonder why you didn't carry it over to all the skin lines. Great work, though! more marker work plz! 8D

Pretty!! The greens and yellows are lovely but I like the contrast with the bluebirds. Really pulls the pic together.

I think I spent 5 minutes wondering where I'd seen it this before I realized it was the sketch of this in the scraps (the one on which laziness struck I, and I didn't comment. Sorry!)

But wow... this looks so very different from the sketch! The colors are so bright (but not at all flashy, and she looks so pretty. I think my favourite bits are the birdies, they add the brightness, and I love how they're flying out of the borders.

Like the trees too! Though I've never seen a mangrove tree before, their textured look just seems... nice. *is out of words now* I guess I just love the nature-ey look in all this and how all the colors seem so well balanced!

Thehe.^^ I think this is a very interesting picture to look at, for anyone that has seen yours and *Ni-Si 's art
I've noticed she likes to use these ' wooden" frames that lok so good and ornament-like. And the feeling of the character, especially the face reminds me of her style too. The graphical part though is what is still typically your style.
Hm, well, maybe I'm getting it totally wrong, but that's what I thought when I saw it. ^^
Someone had mentioned the silky hair. I totaly agree *_* And I also like how you did the expression. It almost seems like she is radiating some inner light..

Thank you! I was afraid the blue birds would draw too much attention to them... but I couldn't resist the blue and thought that birds in a plainer colour would've just vanished into the background visually.

die Vögel sind fast ganz Blaumeisen - hab nur die Schwänze länger gemacht weil ich sie so schöner finde xD
die Schatten... kommt drauf an von was du meinst. Ich glaube bei der Haut ist einiges verloren gegangen, aber sonst... nein, die waren nicht viel intensiver. Ist aber manchmal auch schwer mit den Copics xD;
